Driving on the freeway, getting hungry so as we often do, we look on Yelp for a restaurant. Found David's Restaurant doing a search for restaurants nearby our location.
Trusting the Yelp reviewers, we decided on David's. It did not disappoint.
First, the menu is large and varied. There has to be something for everyone ... from burgers to salads, breakfast served all day, Mexican and Italian ... and more!
Our food was fresh and tasty. Fairly priced and friendly staff. Seemed like it is frequented by locals as people were greeted by name.
We would come back if we were driving by! Wanted to try the desserts but were too full from dinner. -

Dining room very clean, efficient and at tentative staff. Large servings, good presentation, tremendous taste and complimentary soup with select entrees. I highly recommend.

Traveling through NC with my wife for her job. Wanted a good place for lunch. This place is the best restaurant ever. Excellent, well prepared food from an extensive menu. Great atmosphere. The service was excellent, the food was incredible and the prices are great. Well worth the stop. We absolutely recommend you eat here and come hungry!

Been a few times. Food is always bland and barely a step above leave-it-on-the plate. I usually go back after the memory wears off thinking it will be better, but it never seems to be. A huge and very eclectic menu consisting of so-so dishes. Service is always excellent though.

Always great food! Love the homemade soups, when my grandmother was sick their soup is all she would eat somedays! Very sweet staff! Always a pleasure to see the people that work here.
